米Microsoftは、6月3日未明（日本時間）に開幕した年次イベント「Microsoft Build 2026」で、UNIX系の基本的なコマンド群をWindowsに移植した「Coreutils for Windows」の一般公開を発表しました。
Editは今年5月にMicrosoftがリリースしたコマンドライン向けのテキストエディターだ。Windowsターミナル上で使用でき、マウス操作をサポートしている。また、すべてのメニューにキーボードショートカットからアクセスできる点も大きな特徴となっている。
