The star of one of Rob Reiner’s most celebrated films says he “can finally put my grief into words,” more than two weeks after the couple were found dead.

One of the most iconic movies of the '80s is The Princess Bride, with many citing it as a perfect film, but it would likely be viewed differently if the alternate ending was how it actually concluded.

Phyllis Dalton designed costumes for more than 50 Hollywood films including “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Doctor Zhivago” and “The Princess Bride.” The award-winning designer passed on January 13, 2025.
