「GitHub」でホストされているオープンソースプロジェクトで、ライセンスは「MIT」。バイナリは リリースページ や「Microsoft Store」から無償でダウンロードできる。信頼性とパフォーマンスの向上に注力するとして四半期ごとのリリースサイクルが一時停止されていたが、本バージョンよりまた以前のリリースサイクルに復帰するようだ。
