Microsoftは3月10日(現地時間)、Web版のExcelとPowerPointに「Webに公開（Publish to Web）」と呼ばれる新機能が利用可能になったことをアナウンスした。この機能を使うと、SharePointに保存したファイルから閲覧専用のリンクを生成し、コメントなどを除いた最終的なコンテンツのみを簡単に第三者に公開できる。
