Coding plus dance = a fantastic way to teach algorithms! The foot shake is a dance that follows a repeated sequence, and dances like these are a great way to teach coding and algorithms. Algorithms are a set of instructions, just like the instructions for a dance. By challenging the children to write their algorithm for the dance, they are effectively writing code.
