Last week we coordinated the medical evacuation of a passenger from the cruise ship Pacific Explorer 148km off the coast of Ballina, NSW. The ship was approx. 450km east of Cape Byron so we directed the ship closer to the coast and tasked the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service - Official Site to recover the patient (as seen in this footage!) with our Challenger jet providing top cover.
