🖤🥀 HBD Sing the Sorrow, 23 years old today. In 2003, I’d only heard a few songs by AFI and kept “I Want a Mohawk” and “A Single Second” on constant repeat. But “Girl’s Not Grey” is the song that really stuck. I was 16 years old when I got my hands on this album and through it (and Davey Havok’s extensive dark wave t-shirt collection) I discovered so many more of my favorite bands. I’ve seen them live a handful of times but catching them last fall in Underground Atlanta was one of the best show
