Historic Braemar Castle along the A92 North East 250 route through Deeside in Aberdeenshire and the Cairngorms National Park, with its star shaped defensive wall. The Castle is community run and fundraising is ongoing to repair the harling, improve the grounds and build a Visitor Centre with 21st century facilities. There's this incredible castle in Aberdeenshire that I've always loved visiting. It's called Huntly Castle, and it's got such a fascinating history.
