🚨 Behind the Scenes at the PEI Humane Society 🚨 This time of year, we’re sharing the stories you don’t often get to see, including the rescue and rehabilitation of Nova & Phoenix. When emergency crews responded to a house fire, they discovered two pets inside living in awful conditions and contacted Animal Protection. Nova, a young pitbull mix, and Phoenix, a cat who truly earned his name, were brought safely to our shelter. Both were covered in fleas. Nova was very skinny and suffering from s
