This morning I spent over FOUR hours on the phone—towing companies, auto auctions, insurance reps, state police… you name it. All trying to track down the personal belongings from my totaled car that were supposedly “sent to me.” Spoiler alert: they weren’t. Everyone for the past 2 1/2 weeks kept passing the buck. “Nothing was in the car,” they said. “We looked,” they said. But then—enter Mom and Dad. (I love you so much)
